KRA is a Vancouver-based architecture firm that specializes in many aspects of design, planning, and interior environments. Our vision for design excellence, attention to detail, determination and a desire to contribute to the betterment of the human condition brings our team together. While our greatest skill in design stems from designing over 100 healthcare environments, we maintain a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from retail, mixed use, residential and education. Our work spans across Western Canada with projects in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Our team has been responsible for such notable projects as the new $127M Chinook Regional Hospital Addition, $69M BC Cancer Centre of the North, the $50M Haida Gwaii Hospital and Health Centre - Xaayda Gwaay Ngaaysdll Naay, and the $600M Surrey Memorial Hospital Critical Care Tower. Lead by Principal Kirsten Reite, who has practiced architecture for over 20 years and has carried responsibility for over 100 complex projects, our team brings together a diverse group of talented and dedicated architects, designers, technologists, and graphic designers. Our team embraces the use of Revit, software specifically built for Building Information Modeling (BIM) that allows our team the ability to provide all who are involved with a 3D rendering early into the design process. This provides the client and stakeholders with a clear vision of the design and the opportunity to see the impact of their design choices.
