About Kirsten Reite Architecture
Kirsten Reite Architecture is a full-service design firm located in Vancouver, BC, offering Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Project Management and Development services. KRA is a registered practice in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario with active projects spanning across these four provinces.
KRA is known for its proficiency and experience in designing healthcare, commercial and educational environments. The KRA team is focused on delivering projects of all shapes and sizes with a focus on adding value. The common thread in our projects are clients who share our values of trust, respect, and excellence. Our approach is one of collaboration, clear and precise communication and, most importantly, fun.
Rooted in Vancouver’s History
Founded in 2013, KRA was first located in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Japantown. The pre-WWII building was originally built as the Japan Canada Trust Savings Company. Principal Kirsten Reite and her partner, Lance Burger, owner of Bon Constructors, purchased and revitalized the building using their respective expertise in Architecture and Construction Management.
In 2020, KRA relocated to a new office in Strathcona Village. KRA and Bon Constructors thoughtfully designed and constructed a unique office space that is home to over 30 KRA team members, and Bon Constructors.

The KRA Blueprint illustrates how we live our lives and perform our work as a connected enterprise. Like the plans of a house from foundation to the roof, everything plays an important part in supporting the entirety of the building so it can function at its best.
