Birdies is a new California inspired restaurant concept designed as a “fun, engaging and laid-back atmosphere with fresh, flavour-driven food and drinks”. The restaurant features a 7,661 square foot space with a 1,310 square foot outdoor patio. KRA was involved primarily in the renovation of the exterior architectural scope, adding four openings, including a roller door to create connection between the interior and exterior of the restaurant, as well as a new take-out window.

The space is filled with soft pastels and light wood to evoke a California feel and features artwork to evoke the California coast.

Unique to the Birdies concept is the inclusion of a takeaway and provisions shop, offering prepared meals and carefully curated products.
