Debuting in 2018, Earls Kitchen + Bar Ambleside represents a new dining concept for the well-loved Canadian chain. The waterfront location at Grosvenor Ambleside features an aesthetically pleasing interior and ocean view seats with a West Coast-meets-California beach vibe.
As Architect of Record, KRA teamed with Earls’ internal design team for the concept development and interior design of the project. The Earls team defined and identified an aesthetic to suit the West Coast Modern feel of the Grosvenor Ambleside Development, which diverges from the typical aesthetic found in other Earls restaurants.
Large windows, natural wood, and exposed concrete create the clean bones of the space, and they are complemented and balanced by mid-century accents and tropical plants. The space also features custom contemporary art by local artists.
